Under general supervision, performs waived, moderate and high complexity analyses as specified under CMS Standards and Certification: Laboratory Requirements (42 CFR 493) Responsibilities Quality Control - Performs waived, moderate and high complexity testing using manual and automated processes following policies/procedures. - Prepares reagents, quality control materials and other testing materials. - Performs required equipment maintenance. - Assists in data evaluation, and correlation of new instruments/procedures. - Demonstrates knowledge of open and expiration dates and storage of specimens, QC and reagents.
