Maintenance Technician (Part-Time/Temporary) - Junipine Resort POA (Sedona, AZ)
We are seeking a temporary, part-time Maintenance Technician to work at Junipine Resort HOA located in Sedona, AZ.
The hourly rate is $20/Hourly- Negotiable based on experience - Part-Time/Temporary only for 3-6 months.
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Function & Role:
Under general supervision of the Facilities Maintenance Manager, the Temporary Maintenance Technician maintains all landscaping aspects of the Association's common grounds and facilities, including but not limited to irrigation systems, equipment, and property. Knowledge in landscaping and irrigation is required.
Qualifications:
•Position involves standing and movement throughout the day. Must be able to transport oneself around the property.
•Position will alternate between working indoors in controlled climate and proper lighting to an outdoor setting with variable climate and lighting.
•Must be able to lift heavy load utilizing safe work methods.
•Able to lift 75 pounds or more.
•Valid state driver's license.
•High School Diploma or equivalent.
•5+ year carpentry and electrical experience.
•Basic knowledge of accounting and invoices practices as well as email, scanning, basic computer use, etc.
Responsibilities and duties:
•Coordinate all duties for maintenance.
•Regularly assesses Community needs and reports to Community Manager.
•Assesses future grounds needs and schedule accordingly up to one year in advance.
•Assess and ensure compliance with all regulatory agencies.
•Must be familiar with the Associations' budget in order to understand what can or may be purchased for repair and maintenance.
•Report any problems to manager immediately.
•Report damage to trees and foliage to Facilities Maintenance Manager
•Work on daily and weekly plan activities.
•Assess urgency of work and recommend priority to manager.
•Complete preventative maintenance on all equipment and document accordingly.
•Keep, maintain, mark and secure Community Property (tools).
•Maintain inventory of all supplies needed for the Community as approved by the Community budget.
•Assesses materials needed for repair issues in advance and consolidates procurement time & travel.
•Maintain order and cleanliness of maintenance office, supply shed, and immediate yard area.
•Have an understanding of and appreciate for sustainability practices and possible suggestions for improving sustainability practices on property.
