Who we are looking for

FH seeks an experienced Chief Growth Officer (CGO) with a bold mandate who will drive the organization's growth and expansion. This executive leader will translate strategy into operational tactics to accelerate growth and work closely with other executive team members to identify and pursue new growth opportunities The qualified CGO will have at least 12 years of development and/or fundraising experience in obtaining funding donations and leading private revenue and fundraising campaigns. Additionally, the qualified candidate will have experience leading child sponsorship programs or with an organization that offers subscription-based programs to drive revenue. A successful candidate will have the following:

  • A vibrant personal relationship with Jesus Christ, a Christian commitment to serving the poor, and in full agreement with FH s Christian beliefs.
  • At least 8 years in a senior leadership role leading a fundraising, development, and/or business development team.
  • Advanced leadership and management experience with a proven track record of delegating and directing to meet and exceed results.
  • Familiarity with the strategies and tactics needed to develop and grow new business opportunities.
  • Outstanding analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, coupled with an ability to translate ambiguous ideas or issues into well-defined solutions with a track record for delivering results.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills.


What you ll do

As the CGO, you will:

  • Ensure the organization s fundraising strategy is world-class, develop an ambitious vision to engage current and prospective donors, and elevate the organization s profile
  • Oversee organization-wide development and fundraising goals to advance Food for the Hungry s mission, working across teams with the executive leadership
  • Develop, champion, and direct the development of growth strategy, expansion initiatives, and organizational structure to meet the organization's growth objectives
  • Evaluate current market trends and steer the growth strategies and objectives of the organization to meet changing business environments
  • Promote, model, and safeguard our Christian, biblically based culture, and relational approach in all we do
  • Work with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Executive Leadership Team (ELT) to create and implement strategies, establish priorities, and play the Chief role in the organization s private income growth globally
