HIRING: Vineyard Laborer
Merkin Vineyards is a small Arizona Vineyard and Winery currently producing 8,000 cases. We work with a very diverse range of grapes grown at high elevation, both red and white. The Role:
The primary responsibilities of a Vineyard Laborer are to perform the manual functions for developing and maintaining company vineyards with an elevated skillset.

What you will be doing:

• Prune, tie, pick, train, weed, thin, de-leaf, plant, sucker, graft, harvest, or repair trellis, as needed to maintain or improve the condition of the vines
• Prepare and plant the vineyards
• Install trellis, irrigation, and drainage system in the new vineyards
• Properly maintain safety procedures in all production areas at all times, and to inform the Vineyard Supervisor of any safety problems that may arise
